Ulladulla High School has a well resourced Special Education Faculty featuring;

  • Four Support Classes.
  • An off-site Tutorial Centre.
  • A Support Teacher for Students with Hearing Difficulties.

Support Classes

  • Three cater for students with Intellectual Disabilities.
  • One for students with Behavioural/Emotional difficulties.
  • Tutorial Centre - off site resource for mainstream.

School Learning Support Officers 

  • Students with special needs involved in work experience and mainstream classes are supported by a team of seven School Learning Support Officers.

Individual Education Plan (IEP)

  • All Special Education students integrate into mainstream subjects.
  • Classes are  identified by their IEP's where success can be achieved on an academic and/or social basis.

Vocational Skills 

  • High priority is placed on developing vocational skills.
  • Students participate in community based work experience and/or
  • School based enterprise activities, such as The Spotted Frog Café and The Spotted Cow Milk Bar.
