Ulladulla is a small rural coastal town with approximately 6,200 residents(1) located on the south coast of New South Wales - 65km south of Nowra and 52km north of Batemans Bay. The local area includes many communities with a combined population of approximately 16,400 residents(2). Ulladulla is in Murramarang Country which is part of the Yuin Nation.

Ulladulla is home to a large commercial fishing fleet and annually holds the Blessing of the Fleet Festival on Easter Sunday, this festival is a major local event and involves many community organisations. More information about the festival can be found HERE.

Ulladulla High School is a large rural coastal secondary school, set amongst the trees, along a creek line adjacent to the central business district in Ulladulla.

Students come to Ulladulla High from Bawley Point in the South to Manyana in the North. The nearest public high schools are Bateman’s Bay and Vincentia High Schools. Students in Year 7 come from Milton Public School, Ulladulla Public School and St Mary’s Primary School. Students traditionally move to the area each year causing the student population to continue to grow at each stage of learning.

Planning for 2009-2011 caters for a student population of approximately 1250, 90 teachers, 8 teacher’s aides and 16 administrative staff.

Due to the current construction works which are being conducted at UHS the Reception and Administration offices as well as the school library have been temporarily relocated to the Camden street entrance to the school. Visitors to the school are required to visit reception on arrival to sign the visitors register and obtain a visitors pass.
